Maine Marathon: Run For Veggies to Table!

  • Baxter Boulevard Portland, ME United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

We are very pleased to have been selected as one of four  beneficiaries of the 2023 Maine Marathon. We will be awarded $15,750 by the Gorham Savings Bank.

You too can help us work toward ending hunger in our community!

By running for Veggies to Table, in the Marathon, Half Marathon, or Relay you’ll help us make an even greater impact on our community as we work to make sure no one has to choose between food and rent or healthcare.

How It Works:

  1. The Maine Marathon handles race organization, online registration, and fundraising transactions – they even create a unique page for each organization and a page for each runner racing as a fundraiser.

  2. Veggies to Table recruits runners as fundraisers (that’s you). To become a fundraiser, you register for the marathon here and select "become a fundraiser” near the end of the process.

  3. Participating runners collect donations through a site that they set up for you after you complete registration as a fundraiser for Veggies to Table.

  4. Once you raise $200 or more to race in the Maine Marathon, Half Marathon or Marathon Relay, they discount your registration fee to the Early Bird price.

  5. Donations are then distributed to Veggies to Table.

Ready to run for Veggies to Table? Register for our team at runsignup.com.

You can find more information on the Maine Marathon website.

The Veggies to Table team will also be volunteering to assist at the marathon on Sunday, October 1st and we’d love to see you there!
