Dress in your white finery and join Veggies to Table on Sunday, August 11th from 4-8 pm for our French and travel-themed auction at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences in East Boothbay.

There will be abundant French food, such as quiche, tartes, oysters, fromage, baguettes, charcuterie, crepes, macarons and desserts made by Alain, along with French wine, champagne, local saison and Belgian style beer, and cider served at the event. There will be a live and silent auction, music, French photo booths, and so much more!

Brook Hazelton, former President of Christie’s for North & South America, will be auctioning off unique prizes to raise funds in support of Veggies to Table’s mission of feeding hungry Mainers.

Join Erica and Alain at the Veggies to Table farm for a private walking tour of the farm. You’ll get to hear how things started and why, see the veggies and flowers growing, and you'll even get to visit the chickens!  After the tour, Erica and Alain will prepare an intimate meal in their home just for you with produce from the farm—the same top-quality produce they grow and donate. The table will be decorated with flower bouquets for you to take home as well (season permitting).

A Barters Island Bees Experience value $450

Join Donna and Denny Denniston at Barters Island Bees for 3 hours of learning and experiencing beekeeping and honey production. Put on a bee-suit and go into the hives, or just watch the process as they work with the bees.  You will be treated to a spread of delicious food and drinks featuring our honey products.

Your attendance at this event will help Veggies to Table bring even more top-quality, organic produce and joyful flowers to our neighbors in need.
