We are committed to helping restore dignity to individuals and families who have lost control over that most basic of choices and decisions—what to eat.
The goal? Universal access to nutritious and culturally appropriate food for everyone.
In five seasons we have grown and donated over 57,168 pounds of organic produce and 66,867 flowers to those in need of food and joy in our community. As an estimated 215,000 of people in Maine do not have enough food to eat, our mission is vital — now.
Food Insecurity = A lack of consistent access to enough food to lead an active, healthy life.
